Only five teams in the fray as Sri Lanka pull out of qualifiers

KUALA LUMPUR: Sri Lanka have pulled out of the Asian Games women's hockey qualifying tournament starting at the KL Hockey Stadium tomorrow.

The Sri Lankans have cited exams as the main reason for not putting up a side in the qualifiers. This leaves the qualifiers with only five teams. They are Malaysia, Pakistan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Iran.
