TO attend training for last Sukma in Negri Sembilan in 2004, Kedah bowler Khairul Hafidz Zamri had to borrow his father's car and drive his teammates all the way from Sungai Petani to Alor Star.
Even though most of the members of the team were from Sungai Petani, the Kedah Sports Council turned down Khairul and his team mates' plea to train on their own.
