PETALING JAYA: With many states announcing lucrative incentives, one of the keenest battles for gold medals seems to be on the cards for the 11th Malaysia Games (Sukma) in Kedah starting on Wednesday.
But all that lucre could just make a farce out of what the Malaysia Games had first set out to be. For the umpteenth time, the original aim – that of identifying new talents, and promoting ethics and research – seems to have been forgotten.
