KINGSTON: Jamaica’s Asafa Powell says that Justin Gatlin equalling his 100m world record has spoiled the mark for him, saying the American’s run does not have the look of a world record effort.
IAAF officials announced on Wednesday that Gatlin had equalled, and not broken as first thought, Powell’s world record of 9.77 set last June in Athens.
