KUALA LUMPUR: Former international A. Arulselvaraj is the first Malaysian to be appointed as the assistant coach of the South African national hockey team, who will feature in the World Cup Finals in Germany in September.
The 32-year-old Arulselvaraj, who is in charge of the PUK Hockey Academy in Noordburg, South Africa, said yesterday that that he was more than happy to take up the job when the South African chief coach Paul Revington made him the offer.
