KUALA LUMPUR: Division Two champions Bandar Penawar Sports School (BPSS) chalked up a 2-1 win over Division One runners-up Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MPPJ) in a Malaysian Junior Hockey League (MJHL) quarter-final second-leg match at the Johor Baru City Council Hockey Stadium yesterday.
But the win was not good enough to put them in the semi-finals. MPPJ advanced 3-2 on aggregate and will play against former champions Tenaga Nasional for a place in the final. The other semi-final tie is between Division One champions Bukit Jalil Sport School (BJSS) and BJSS Juniors.
