PETALING JAYA: Four-time champion, Toshiyuki Hamaguchi proved he is not ready to give up his crown in the SuperSports 600cc event by clocking the fastest lap of 1:35.041 during the first qualifying in the opening leg of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship at the Sentul International Circuit, Indonesia yesterday.
Nothing seemed to dampen Hamaguchi’s spirit even though, this time around, he comes in as a privateer.
