BERLIN: About 320 foreign police officers will be on patrol in Germany during the football World Cup in a bid to prevent hooligan violence, the German government said on Thursday.
Britain, Poland, France and Holland – all countries with known football hooligan problems – are sending up to 40 officers each to the World Cup games, said a statement.
