SHANGHAI: Briton Colin Montgomerie has learnt to accept the ups and downs of form and says his recent slump is not weighing on his mind as he prepares for this week’s Asian Open.
With last year’s winner Ernie Els of South Africa not defending his title in Shanghai, Montgomerie is one of the favourites to carry off the title at the co-sanctioned US$1.8mil tournament, which starts today.
