MIAMI: The world’s top players will have to tackle the longest course in major history when Medinah Country Club hosts this year’s US PGA Championship, organisers said on Tuesday.
A 7,401-yard layout when it staged the 1999 US PGA Championship won by Tiger Woods, the par-72 No. 3 Course at Medinah has been stretched to 7,561 yards for the Aug 17-20 tournament.
