DHAKA: Bangladesh's sports chiefs yesterday banned a shooter for life after he admitted assaulting an Australian woman during last month's Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
Toufiqur Rahman was barred from taking part in national or international competitions for bringing his country into disrepute, Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) general secretary Kutibuddian Ahmed said.
