PETALING JAYA: Debutant Ahmad Fazrul Sham made the most of a lucky break to win the second leg of the Petronas Sprinta AAM Malaysian Cub Prix championship at Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan yesterday.
Fazrul started third from the grid but stole the lead after seven laps when pole sitter Ahmad Fuad Baharudin's bike had mechanical problems, forcing him to retire from the race.
