PETALING JAYA: Kuan Beng Hong was only nine when Malaysia last won the Thomas Cup Finals. In fact, it was during all that euphoria that Beng Hong first picked up a badminton racquet.
Today, 14 years later, Beng Hong is Malaysia’s fourth ranked men’s singles shuttler. And the 23-year-old is ready to be thrown into the “cauldron” during his debut Thomas Cup Finals in Japan from April 28-May 7.
