PARIS: Former world heptathlon champion Eunice Barber has made a formal complaint alleging police brutality after her arrest in Paris at the weekend, her lawyer said on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old was “very shocked and extremely traumatised,” her lawyer Emmanuel Daoud said, four days after she was alleged to have bitten officers who had arrested her near the Stade de France in Paris.
