AUSTRALIA’S John Steffensen upset fancied Alleyne Francique to win the 400m at the Commonwealth Games yesterday and zigzagged around the stadium in celebration.
Steffensen took the lead on the final bend and pulled away to cross in 44.73 – more than one second inside his personal best.
