LAWN bowler Affendy Tan Abdullah suffered a setback to his hopes to make the quarter-finals of the men's singles competition when he lost for the second time in his group at the State Lawn Bowls Centre yesterday.
Affendy was beaten 0.5-1.5 (7-7, 6-8) by Northern Ireland's Martin McHugh and is now in third place in Group B behind Kelvin Kerkow of Australia and Juni Peter of Papua New Guinea.
