AUSTRALIA’S Brooke Krueger made her major competition breakthrough with victory in the Commonwealth Games hammer yesterday.
Krueger’s fourth-round effort of 67.90m proved enough for victory after a hard-fought final in which the Games record changed hands twice at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
