A bizarre loophole that allows Sonia O'Sullivan to compete for Australia at the Commonwealth Games in between representing Ireland at international athletics meets could be quashed as early as today.
The question remaining is will the Commonwealth Games Federation's General Assembly decide to close the loophole immediately and shut O'Sullivan out of the Melbourne Games, or delay the implementation until the 2010 Games in New Delhi, India?
