Shooter repays IGP’s gesture with new national record


PETALING JAYA: Rifleman Mohd Hameleay Abdul Mutalib got special leave from the Inspector General of Police to compete in the Melbourne Commonwealth Games – and promptly repaid the gesture with his first-ever national record yesterday. 

The shooter, who is attending a course to be an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) cadet in Cheras, became the first cadet to be granted the special leave on Friday.
