SAN JOSE: Britains Andrew Murray eased into the second round of the SAP Open with an emphatic 6-2, 6-2 victory over American wildcard Mardy Fish on Monday, hours after Andre Agassi had withdrawn from the event with a back injury.
The second seeded Agassi was replaced by lucky loser Travis Rettenmaier of the US, who defeated compatriot Scoville Jenkins 7-5, 3-6, 6-3.
