LONDON: Julian Gray headed English Premier League strugglers Birmingham City into the last 16 of the FA Cup as the Blues won through 2-1 in a fourth round replay against promotion-chasing Reading at St Andrews on Tuesday.
In the day’s other replay Preston North End came from behind to beat Second Division rivals Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park thanks to two goals from striker Daniele Dichio, the second coming two minutes from time.
