KUALA LUMPUR: KLHA secretary V. Rajamanickam has filed an appeal against his one-year suspension by the Malaysian Hockey Federation (MHF) on Jan 15.
The KLHA secretary was suspended for having brought disrepute to the MHF by making a statement in the press in regards to the Razak Cup competition held last year in Klang.
MHF secretary T. Paramalingam confirmed yesterday that he has received the appeal from Rajamanickam.
The last day for appeal by the six officials suspended by the MHF is on Feb 3.
Besides Rajamanickam, two Selangor officials S. Subramaniam and Joseph de Silva were suspended two years and five years respectively.
