PENANG: Johor’s hopes of a grand double were dashed when Kuala Lumpur produced a sensational upset in the women’s semi-finals of the Agong’s Cup National Basketball Championships at the Han Chiang Indoor Arena here yesterday.
While the Johor men's team confirmed their place in the final with a narrow 75-73 win over Penang, their women's team went down 45-61 to a gallant Kuala Lumpur side.
