MALACCA: Johor Baru's Sultan Abu Bakar (SAB) College checked into the quarter-finals of the MHF-MILO-NSC-MSSM Champions Schools hockey tournament with a 100% win record in Group D at the Bukit Serendit Hockey Stadium yesterday.
Installed as the new favourites to win the title following unimpressive performances by defending champions SMK Anderson of Ipoh, the Johor outfit edged SMK Kuala Perlis 3-2 to top the group. SAB College had earlier defeated SM Puchong Perdana 4-1 and SMK Padang Midin 3-2.
