KUALA LUMPUR: The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) now have a committee of former internationals as their sports goodwill ambassadors.
Yesterday, eight of them – cyclists Shahruddin Jaafar, M. Kumaresan and Edwin Ng; bowler J.B. Koo; hockey players Stephen Van Huizen (pic) and Poon Fook Loke; and footballers Bhawandi Hiralal and B. Sathianathan – pledged to be role models for the youngsters in the country.
