LONDON: Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has confessed that he envies the defensive solidity on which Chelsea have based their current dominance of English football.
A 1-1 draw with Everton means United trail the champions by 12 points at the top of the Premiership and there appears little prospect of them closing that gap as long as they remain as vulnerable as they were on Sunday and in last week’s Champions League humiliation by Benfica.
