MALACCA: Last year’s runners-up Kuala Lumpur charged into the second round of the Coca-Cola Under-16 football tournament in grand style but reigning champions Kedah failed to make the cut.
KL whipped Perlis 3-0 at the SMK Klebang ground to finish top of Group B with a maximum of nine points from three matches. The City boys only came alive after the break and netted through Mohd Badrulhisham Azmi (44th), Nor Adli Affendi (54th) and Mohd Izham Abu Bakar (65th).
