Reds, City and Leeds bosses regret fans’ behaviour

LONDON: The managers of Liverpool, Manchester City and Leeds United have expressed regret at the failure by fans at their games to observe a one-minute silence for soccer legend George Best.

Calls from the Premier League and Football League for the silence in memory of Best, who died on Friday, were honoured by fans at virtually every professional game over the weekend.
