Malaysia picked up three gold medals yesterday – one in the pole vault and two in diving – to to share the lead in the medals tally with hosts Philippines on the first official day of competition at the 23rd SEA Games.
Roslinda Samsu of Malaysia set a Games record in winning the women's pole vault in 4.10m while countryman Yeoh Ken Nee won the 1m springboard.
