MUNICH: Roy Makaay scored twice to help send Bayern Munich through t he last 16 of the Champions League with a 4-0 win at home to Rapid Vienna in Group A on Tuesday.
Bayern, making light of the absence of the injured Michael Ballack, took the lead in the 21st minute when Sebastian Deisler drilled a shot past Helge Payer.
