LISBON: Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo is joining forces with four other top Portuguese footballers to invest millions in a football-themed luxury resort in southern Portugal.
The 20-year-old, along with his Chelsea rivals Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreia, Lyon’s Tiago Mendes and Barcelona’s Brazilian-born star Deco, will foot 50% of the 40mil euro (US$47mil) cost of the project with the rest being covered by construction firm RR Grupo.
