SYDNEY: The Australian players are on a bonus of more than A$100,000 (US$73,000) each to beat Uruguay here today and reach next year's World Cup Finals in Germany.
Australia have not been to the Finals since their sole appearance in Germany in 1974 and must overcome Uruguay by a two-goal margin at Sydney's Olympic Stadium after a 1-0 loss in the first leg in Montevideo last Saturday.
