JOHOR BARU: Sabah FA (SAFA) president Datuk Anifah Aman is up in arms over teams that he says are luring away his players with lucrative offers, including five-figure salaries.
Among the players said to be offered big contracts – which breach FAM rules – are national Under-23 players Ronny Harun and Sumardi Hajalan who are expected to feature prominently for Malaysia in the 23rd SEA Games in Manila later this month.
