Shahrul gives up hope of retaining long jump gold


KUALA LUMPUR: Long jumper Mohd Shahrul Amri is still recovering from a heel injury and he has given up hope of emerging as the SEA Games champion again. 

The 22-year-old Maybank clerk said that the injury, which he suffered during the Asian Track and Field (ATF) championships in Incheon, South Korea, last month, was still bugging him.
