Dozens of Liverpool fans held

BRUSSELS: Dozens of Liverpool supporters were detained in Brussels overnight as the English football club made their first return here since the Heysel disaster 20 years ago, security officials said early on Thursday.

Some 74 supporters were held and warned for trying to get into the ground of local side Anderlecht without tickets during their Champions League clash in the capital, the Belga news agency reported, citing the head of security.
