LOME: Soccer fans in Togo, Ivory Coast and Ghana partied through the weekend to fete their countries' first-time qualification for the World Cup Finals and Togo extended its celebration into Monday with a public holiday.
Yellow T-shirts filled the streets of the Togolese capital Lome as citizens wore the team's colours and drivers attached yellow scarves to their cars during a special one-day holiday decreed by President Faure Gnassingbe.
