MANILA: Contrary to the uncertainty over the political situation here and Philippines' readiness to host the 23rd SEA Games, Manila has assured that preparations and promotions for South-East-Asia's biennial premier sporting event have moved into top gear.
The Philippines Sports Commission chairman, who is also the games Organising Committee chairman, William I. Ramirez said yesterday that preparations and promotional activities had picked up momentum over the past few weeks.
