PENANG: Malacca got off to a stunning start on the opening day of the national Under-14 hockey championship, scoring a 4-1 victory over fancied Johor at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hockey Stadium yesterday.
Their victory in Group B was remarkable for the fact that their players had hardly played together as a team prior to the tournament.
