PETALING JAYA: Southpaw Alex Liew of Malaysia justified his top ranking in Asia when he beat 2004 Asian Tour Tournament of Champions winner Wu Siu Hong of Hong Kong to win the third Indonesia International Open Masters crown at the Jaya Ancol Bowl in Jakarta yesterday.
For his fourth international title, Alex picked up a cheque for 50mil rupiah (RM19,000) while the runner-up settled for 25mil rupiah.
