Kam paves way for shuttlers to earn trip to Anaheim


KUALA LUMPUR: Former national women's doubles pair Lim Pek Siah-Chor Hooi Yee and singles player M. Sutheaswari have to thank businessman Datuk Andrew Kam for the chance to feature in the World Badminton Championships, which begin in Anaheim, California, on Monday. 

Pek Siah and Hooi Yee, who started the partnership late last year and are currently ranked 26th in the world, are in the championships on an invitation from the International Badminton Federation (IBF).
