HARARE: Daniel Vettori smashed the fastest ever Test century by a New Zealand batsman yesterday as the Kiwis piled-up 452-9 in their first innings against Zimbabwe on the opening day of the first Test.
Vettori needed just 82 balls to reach his ton before eventually falling for 127 while Brendon McCullum also reached three figures making 111 as the tourists made the highest ever first day total in a Test at the Harare Sports Club.
