KAJANG: Airil Rizman Zahari, winner of the PNB Classic I title, closed in on leader Rahizam Ramli after posting a three-under 69 on the penultimate round of the Malaysian Professional Golfers Association’s (MPGA) PNB Classic II at the Impian Golf and Country Club here yesterday.
Airil, who clinched the Classic I in April at the same course, moved into contention after carding his second consecutive 69 for a two-day total of 138 and trails overnight leader Rahizam by a single stroke.
