Dollah to place faith on local defenders against MK Land

PETALING JAYA: Newly-crowned Premier League champions Selangor will be relying on an all-local defence to shackle MK Land’s nippy Indian striker Bhaichung Bhutia in their opening Malaysia Cup Group D match at the Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday.

Coach Dollah Salleh said they were in no hurry to beef up their defence and would continue with Nazrulerwan Makmur and Ahmad Tharmini Saiban at centre back while they search for the right man to replace Australian defender Farah Badui, whose contract was terminated last month because of a long term injury.
