Springboks whip Wallabies

JOHANNESBURG: A couple of opportunist first-half tries set up South Africa to beat Australia 33-20 on Saturday and retain the Nelson Mandela Challenge rugby title.

Former president Mandela was among a capacity 68,000 crowd at a sun-drenched Ellis Park who cheered to victory a Springbok side including a record six blacks in the starting line-up.
