Wee Wern wins first premier U-19 title on junior circuit


KUALA LUMPUR: National junior Low Wee Wern secured a timely morale booster ahead of the women's World Junior Squash Championships in Belgium from July 21-26 when she bagged the Premier Under-19 girls' title in the fourth leg of the SportExcel-Milo-NSC junior circuit at National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday. 

The 15-year-old Penangite beat another World Junior Championships-bound player, Siti Munirah Jusoh of Terengganu, 10-9, 9-5, 9-3 in the final to clinch her first title in the elite category.
