MANCHESTER: Manchester United's new owners have assured manager Alex Ferguson he will have the cash to make big transfer buys in the summer.
It had been widely reported that to generate funds to complete their £790mil takeover at Old Trafford, the Glazer family would restrict Ferguson to £25mil a year in the transfer market.
