FRANKFURT: Australia will relish the opportunity of testing themselves against world football powers Argentina and Germany at the Confederations Cup as they search for quality opponents ahead of World Cup qualifying.
The Australians have performed well at past Confederations Cups, beating France and Brazil to finish in third in 2001 in Korea and losing 6-0 to the Brazilians in the 1997 final after drawing 0-0 with them in a group match.
