Perak regain boys’ title, thanks to Chee Yew

IPOH: Agile Yong Chee Yew had only two points to show but his fast and furious pace helped Perak to regain the boys’ title in the Under-18 competition of the national schools (MSSM) basketball championships at the Indera Mulia Stadium here yesterday. 

The SMK Seri Teja, Gopeng, student’s spirited performance was a constant source of inspiration to the Perak team, who came alive after the interval to crush Pahang 53-42 in the final. Perak led by only a point at half time – 16-15.
