LONDON: Roman Abramovich's takeover of Chelsea has cost the Russian tycoon £300 million in two years and had a distorting effect on English soccer finances, according to consultants Deloitte and Touche.
England's Premier League strengthened its position in 2003-04 as Europe's richest, the Deloitte report said.
