AMSTERDAM: Malaysia’s top women's squash player Nicol David celebrated her rise to the world number three spot by bagging the US$31,000 Mamut Dutch Open title in sizzling style yesterday.
Just four days after being ranked third in the world, the 21-year-old Nicol pulled off a stunning 2-9, 9-6, 10-8, 9-6 win over reigning world champion and world number two Vanessa Atkinson of Holland in the semi-finals on Saturday.
